Ken “Take a Walk in Shibuya”
Ken is one of the few Japanese to truly understand the street culture of all over the world.
His second solo exhibition at Gallery Naruyama features drawings, woodblock prints and a woodcarving inspired by Shibuya.
His methods for the expression such as cutting out of various scenes and making sentences with them have lightness like the street art.

“SHIBUYA has an absolute energy. Countless things are happening there and keep asking me about many things. These experiences become part of myself. Shibuya is one of the place represents Tokyo and I would say it is an entrance and an exit of this big city.
My artworks bind up street and society. This time to express my Shibuya I engraved a wood and created woodblock prints”Ken
